Childs Wicker Rocker

Before

After

A woman brought this in with about 300 million coats of paint on it. With wicker the paint builds up in globs in between the weaving over the years as coat after coat gets applied. This was a very difficult strip job. It was also EXPENSIVE to do. Sometimes people tend to bring me something small and think it will be easy and inexpensive.
Since this was her grandfather’s chair as a child, the cost was not a consideration. Saving it was the goal!
It turned out to be a beautiful save.
